The months of September and October are a magical time to be in Colorado as the aspen trees change from their green summer foliage into electric yellows and oranges that bring the mountains to life with their beautiful whispers in the breeze. The scene is from the landscape near Silverton and Durango in the beautiful San Juan Mountain range of the Rocky Mountains.
